Our Story

We got tired of watching our friends do the math.

You are the one who plans it.

You pick the place. You book the trip. You remember the birthday. You’re the one who says “don’t worry about it, I’ve got it” — and then spends the next three weeks chasing six people for the cost of dinner.

You are the organizer. And nobody thanks you for it.

We built Allospend because we believe that leading a group shouldn’t come with a second job. We believe that splitting a bill should take seconds, not days. We believe the person who pays first should never have to ask twice.

We believe that when the money disappears, the friendship stays.

The Moment

The check arrives.

Six friends. One table. The waiter drops the leather folder in the middle and suddenly the conversation gets quieter. Someone says “I’ve got it.” You mean it. You always do.

Then comes the second dinner — the one in your head. The splits. The tax. The tip. The Venmo requests. The three-day silence. The DM you hate sending.

It’s the same dance every time.

The Trip

The trip that started it.

One of us planned a trip for nine. Nine people, six days, four cities, one shared credit card. By day three, a spreadsheet had appeared in the group chat. By day five, nobody was speaking in it. By the time everyone got home, half the money was still floating in the air — and so was the friendship.

We looked around. Every group had one. The one who plans. The one who pays. The one who chases. Nobody had built anything for them.

So we did.
